  want to say that my son is a patient. We came in today for our appointment. When I made the appointment there was no mention of a new policy or anything. So I took day off and brought him in. When we get here we were informed because my son has a shunt we need a medical release now (that was never requested before or a year ago). I told them how wrong it was that I was not informed of the new policy before coming and called my doctors office. They were not sure if doctor would see it today and typically require 24 hours on all forms. I then went to front desk to tell them I was going to run to doctor office and hoping inperson they might do it. The rude lady (seemed as though she was in charge) said well i have openings later today if you can get it. I was furious and said "really its your offices fauly for not telling me about the form so you should see him openings or not". She then said it was not thier fault that it was a new policy so not thier fault. (Never once appologizing, which was simply all I wanted, empathy and admitting that maybe the way the notify patients goes a long way). I told her it is this offices fault they know policy has changed so when making an appointment if they dont have the chart they should simply say to everyone that they updated policies and if your child has a medical condition you will need a release before they can be seen. Again never appoligizing she said they will look into that. I even said to her "Look all I am looking for is for u to say I am sorry, take some responsibility. But she just starred at me. I did ultimately get to the doctor office and form was signed and he was seen. But still no appology. Why is this women even working with customers????? The rest of the staff were friendly and the looks on thier faces were applogetic. She did come out after we got back and said she was glad I was able to get the form signed.
